I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! And if you don't follow all that Christian stuff then I hope you will enjoy a well deserved break.

Arbor will be closing at 6pm on Saturday 24 December 2011 and reopening at 11am on Friday 6 January 2012, when normal Tuesday-Sunday summer hours will resume.

The days are getting longer and we are finally getting some beautiful sunshine! I picked my very first cherry tomato from our little garden yesterday....yum!

Summer at Arbor

Hello out there!

We are warming up in little old Brunswick and getting excited about Christmas time. I have locked in my traditional gingerbread baking day and am exercising furiously in anticipation of all the yummy treats I will eat come December :)

I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about some of the pieces that our wonderful Arbor artists have been creating, particularly some lovely engagement/commitment/special occasion jewellery. We take great pride in supporting local talent who are designing and manufacturing in Australia, often right here in Brunswick.

New winter opening hours

Because it is getting so dark and cold and rainy these winter days Arbor will be closing at 5pm on weekdays until further notice. 

When the days get longer, so will ours!

OPENING HOURS

Monday: closed

Tuesday-Friday: 11-5

Saturday: 10-5

Sunday: 11-3

Longer hours can be arranged on weekdays by prior arrangement so feel free to give me a buzz and make a time.

Hello all!

Boots and jackets are being dusted off and heaters re-lit for the chilly season. I have dragged out last year's unfinished knitting projects and am happily curled up on the couch clicking away!

New in store this month we have Peter O'Connor's hand made satchel bags. Peter creates each of these pieces from his studio in the Melbourne CBD and uses a combination of machine and hand stitching...

Some of Sharon Muir's gorgeous little handmade porcelain birds have flown down from Brisbane to roost in our pigeon holes at Arbor...

Sunggee Min from Melbourne has added a gorgeous range of silver and oxidised pieces to his instore collection...

Elise Newman is the newest Melbourne jeweller to join the ranks at Arbor. With her bold range of powder coated sterling silver pieces, including these Sweetie rings, you will be sure to fall in love with Elise's work...
